Although this workout doesn’t require any equipment, it packs a serious punch! This bodyweight workout will strengthen and tone your entire body from head to toe.
This is the official workout for the Fall Into Fit Challenge! If you haven’t heard, I’m hosting a fitness challenge on my Instagram (follow me over there to join the fun!) that is all about creating healthy habits and routines this fall.
It’s no secret that I love strength workouts. I love lifting weights. I love challenging my muscles. I love super sweaty workouts that really push my strength to the limits. However, just like there are different seasons throughout the year, there are different seasons for our health and fitness routines. For me, I’m in a season where I need to lighten things up a bit and get back to basics.
After taking the summer to run The Balanced Berry full-time, I recently started working a traditional full-time job again and have continued doing all things TBB in a near full-time capacity. Let’s just say it’s been crazy, to say the least. I’ve been firing at all cylinders and honestly slowing down and doing less work-wise just isn’t an option for me. However, I know that I don’t want to run into the ground, so I have to look at other areas of my routine and figure out where I can create less stress and friction. And for right now, workouts are it.
Does that mean I’m going to stop working out because I’m busier? Nope! What it does mean, is that I’m going to do more at-home workouts to minimize my time spent commuting to the gym and that I’m going to focus more on simple bodyweight movements to minimize the amount of stress I’m putting on my body. What does that mean? More at-home friendly workouts for you!

The Workout: Bodyweight Strength Circuit
Complete the Following Circuit 4 Times Through:
12 Prisoner Squats
10 Push Up with Kickback
10 Plyo Lunge to Squat (1 Lunge on Each Leg + 1 Squat = 1 Rep)
10 Per Side Bicycle Twist
10 Per Side Plank Shoulder Tap
