I hope you have had a lovely week! You have no idea how happy I am that it’s Friday. Ok, you probably do know. And you probably feel the same. For some reason this week seemed to drag! I am very happy the weekend is here because I have some awesome things on the horizon. Tons of recipes and goodies around the corner. Until then though, here are a few favorites from the week and around the web.
Y’all – I’m loving Fabletics. I used to have quite the Lulu habit, but since deciding to back to school needless to say I’ve been ballin on a budget. And $100 yoga pants? Ain’t nobody got time for that. Enter Fabletics. This is only the second outfit I’ve gotten from them (the one in the picture) and so far I’m very impressed! Cute, functional and super affordable. It really doesn’t get much better than that.
Pumpkin Spice Errything
Did you see my mini pumpkin spice muffin with an apple cider icing drizzle from last week? If so, you gotta go check that out. They, along with everything else pumpkin have really been floating my boat lately. I’m not a fan of the fake pumpkin spice flavoring, but real pumpkin puree with cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves is a beautiful combination that needs to be honored with the real deal <3
McDonalds Serves What in London – An interesting read. That made me angry. I’m not a big fast food fan myself, but I wholeheartedly believe we all have a right to eat wholesome food from all sources.
How to Change an Unhealthy Habit – As usual, another amazing piece by the soul sister herself miss Heather Waxman. Girl’s advice is always spot on, and the message she shares in this post can be helpful for anyone.
The Importance of Strength Training as you Age – An awesome reminder to regularly push yourself through resistance training. This was written by the awesome instructor who I became TRX certified through. She’s the real deal.
A Letter from a Woman to Her Cellulite – If you’re a woman, read this. Now. It is everything. I can relate to so much of what Taylor says. I’m learning to love and embrace my legs – including those lovely lady lumps 😉
This video from Upworthy. First of all, I love me some Upworthy. They know whats up. Second of all this video is Nutrition 101. Watch it. Learn it. Teach it.
Have a lovely weekend – I’ll be coming atcha soon with a killer cornbread recipe!
xoxo,
Les
