Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope you’re all getting a lovely start to your week. Things are pretty low-key over this way – I have officially deemed it “Hey Party Week”. The phrase “Hey Party” is a term coined by one of my best friends in college, and since then I’ve managed to find a way to say “Hey Party” nearly everyday for the past five years. I’ve deemed this week “Hey Party” week because it’s my last week of freedom before fall quarter starts!
This quarter is going to be a doozy. High level chemistry and biology until the wee hours of the night after working 9-10 hour days…hey. Party. To make the most of my time before I’m back to hitting the books, I’ve been working on my fitness like there’s no tomorrow. PiYo is still my number one obsession, but I wanted to share this fun little booty burner with you all in case you haven’t hopped on the PiYo wagon yet (what are you waiting for?! ;))
A few notes:
-For the one-legged moves such as curtsy lunges and deadlifts, complete 12 reps per leg.
-If you don’t have access to a TRX, you can also do the bridges with your feet on a stability ball, bench, or the ground.
-This is a superset workout, so complete each strength move then immediately go into the following cardio move.
