This fun Kettlebell Core Workout will challenge and strengthen your entire core!
I don’t think it is any secret that I love kettlebells, and if you don’t then I want to convert you to a kettlebell lover too! The thing about kettlebells, is they can be a little intimidating if you don’t know how to use them. But have no fear, today we are going to go over a simple, effective kettlebell routine to strengthen your core.
The first and most important thing to remember when working with a kettlebell is that it is not the same as working with a dumbbell. Since dumbbells have their weight evenly distributed on each end, they are a very balanced source of resistance and are really effective for working specific muscle groups. Kettlebells on the other hand, work just about everything. Even during a quick workout, performing kettlebell exercises can promote strength, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. Perfect for a busy lady like you. With a heavy base and small handle, a kettlebell’s center of gravity is on the bottom where the weight is. That means your body needs to recruit more muscles (specifically your core stabilizer muscles if you are using the kettlebell properly) to execute a movement.
That means bracing your core the entire time you are using the kettlebell, and always always ALWAYS bending your legs to pick up the kettlebell. Don’t go barbie waisting while trying to pick up a kettlebell.
Now, for the workout! Again, please remember to honor your body and modify as needed. Always speak with your doctor before beginning a new exercise program.

I got a kettlebell a few months ago and I’ve been loving it! It’s always fun to switch up your routine a little π
This workout sounds great!
Totally agree – it’s a good way to kick your own butt and switch things up π
LOVE this. I have been a huge fan of kettle bells for years. Mostly because I solely workout from home and they are so versatile. π
Let me know if you give it a try!
Swings <3 I only have my one trusty 20lb…It's "light" now, but so expensive to buy one of the heavier ones! Haha! Damn progress π
That is a good problem to have! π
Kettle bells are definitely my favorite. I love the versatility and that I can work out with a kettle bell anywhere!
Yes exactly! That’s why I love them too
Kettlebells are amazing. Swings are hard work. π I usually use a dumbbell in place of them, because we don’t have any kettle bells.
Hey, ya gotta do what you gotta do. Dumbbells work great as well π
