This Lavender Matcha Latte is the perfect way to get your matcha fix. It’s lightly sweetened, dairy-free and is absolutely delicious iced.
Well, friends, the end of Matcha Week is now upon us, and it’s time we go out with a bang. While I’ve loved all the recipes this week, this one is by far my favorite.
One of my favorite coffee shops is Miro Tea in Ballard. Their seasonal summer drink is a Lavender Honey Cold Brew coffee, and I’m obsessed with it. Why it’s taken me so long to hop onto the lavender train I’m not sure, but now that I’m on board I’m not getting off any time soon. Ever since getting addicted to their coffee version, I knew I had to try my hand at a matcha version. I had a feeling the delicate flavor of lavender would pair well with matcha, and let’s just say I’m happy with the result.
Most coffee shop drinks that feature lavender use lavender-infused honey or syrup. While that’s all well and good, I wasn’t feeling ready to commit to making a batch of infused honey or syrup. I’m just not that fancy. So I wanted to create a lazy-girl version – no infusion required.
I love this drink iced, but it would be delicious warm too.
And with that, matcha week is now over (at least for now). If you’ve been following along, I would love to hear what your favorite recipe was from this week. I hope you’ve loved it as much as I have!
